1. School and college volunteers for coaching and tuitions. 
   
AAMF’s mission is to engage young people in service to work towards the day every child enters school prepared to succeed. To this end, we train and support college students to serve as part-time volunteers, working individually with young children to build skills crucial to school success.

AAMF focuses on two program areas: building School Success for young children by building their early communication through coaching and individual tuitions, literacy, and social skills; and training school and college students to be Future Teachers and leaders in early childhood education.

2. Volunteers for medical services. 

Once a week a volunteer physician visits the education centers, providing medicines, vaccinations, information and other medical services for children and their mothers. Additionally, workshops and discussions are offered to help educate mothers on the importance of basic health care for themselves and their children.   
    
Due to the very low awareness of basic health care in impoverished areas of New Delhi, the AAMF health care program aims to supply underprivileged mothers and their children with vital access to medical services, facilities and information  
  
The health advisor spends a couple of hours every week with the children helping them with routine weekly check-ups and donating some medicines to the children.

3. Volunteers for adult literacy programs and women’s issues.       

The AAMF education centers invite specialists from family planning and reproductive health organizations to lecture on these topics. Working with these groups, AAMF runs workshops and discussions for mothers outlining the importance of family planning.  
   
By educating mothers on the virtues of family planning and education, these women can empower themselves to create new opportunities for themselves and become more positive influences in their children’s lives.  To apply for this volunteer position Click here.
