15th September 2001 – PAPER FOLDING WORKSHOP 

ORIGAMI, the art of paper folding which helps a child to develop its mental and physical abilities was conducted for the children of AAMF. A lot of creation was mixed with entertainment to make the children aware of this art and this helped these children to express themselves with paper. 

10th September 2001 – HAEMOGLOBIN TEST FOR THE CHILDREN 

Haemoglobin test was conducted only for children above the age of 3 years and 45 children gave their blood test. A lot of these children had to be given sweets in order to pacify them.Mothers had been given consultancy to provide the children food with more nutritional value and especially to cook green vegetables more often.Mrs. Nirmal Sippy donated the recommended dosage along with the deworming dosage.

5th September 2001 – TEACHERS DAY CELEBRATIONS

In remembrance of Dr. Radhakrishnan, this day is celebrated to honour the teachers for their excellent services in training the future citizens of our country. Mr. Negi told the importance of Education and of the person imparting it.The outgoing teacher Mrs. Nirmala and the new teacher of AAMF Ms. Rachana were honoured. 

14th August 2001 - INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS

Flag hosting was done at the AAMF Neb Sarai School with everyone remembering the brave soldiers. A small paper flag along with some sweets was distributed to the children and the National Anthem was also sung. 

21st July 2001 – PAINTING WORKSHOP 

Painting workshop has been conducted time and again to bring out this art among the children. This time they were taught Spray painting; Thumb painting, Spread painting, Vegetable painting and Thread painting. This was conducted by Mr. Negi, in coordination with the teacher and was very successful with the children learning about different colours and draw things out of their imagination. 

12th July 2001 – HAEMOGLOBIN TEST FOR THE MOTHERS 

This was mostly a follow-up of the test already conducted in March to monitor their improvement. Accordingly, the ladies were provided with the required dosage of Iron tablets. 

27th June 2001 – FAMILY PLANNING WORKSHOP 

Family Planning workshop was conducted in coordination with Ms. Sangeeta of Parivar Sewa Sanstha and this time it was attended by 35 ladies of our program. It was also observed that all of them were aware of the importance of a small family.Various methods of Family Planning were discussed by giving equal importance to its merits and demerits. The ladies came out with their queries and also discussed the caution of AIDS.
